Commit ProjectTemplate's Registry-Rendered Agent Policy Files - #3895
Conversation
Write the hub's own .github/agent-policy.json and the bot-side keys it implies, rendered by scripts/agent_policy.py from registry/repos.json, so the hub carries the files before any account-level toggle goes off. The render keeps today's behavior: all three bots review automatically, and .pr_agent.toml now states disable_auto_feedback = false explicitly. .coderabbit.yaml renders byte-identical. Moving the hub to explicit review is a later registry agentPolicy override. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

What changed in this PR
This PR commits ProjectTemplate’s registry-rendered agent policy files, making the hub’s default release-model review settings explicit while preserving the effective bot and guard configuration. The explicit policy also changes backlog metrics from auto (default) to auto.
Changes:
- Adds
.github/agent-policy.jsonwith automatic Copilot, CodeRabbit, and Qodo reviews and an empty guard configuration. - Sets Qodo’s
disable_auto_feedback = falseexplicitly in.pr_agent.toml. - Leaves the existing CodeRabbit configuration unchanged.

…3898) ## Summary Promotes #3895 to `main`. - **The hub's own rendered agent policy files (#3895).** This commits `.github/agent-policy.json` and adds `[config] disable_auto_feedback = false` to `.pr_agent.toml`, both rendered from `registry/repos.json` by `scripts/agent_policy.py`. The render matches today's behavior: Copilot, CodeRabbit, and Qodo each review automatically, and `guard` is empty for the release model. This is the first part of the policy-driven review pilot. Once it is on `main`, `configure.sh check` stops reporting agent-policy drift on ProjectTemplate. A later registry `agentPolicy` override moves the hub to explicit review. The feature pull request carried a recorded local strict pass with no findings, and Copilot's round on it was clean. 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code)
