What

Reskins the VS Code extension with the CoDev "c" badge that codev --mini draws (packages/tui/src/logo.ts) and sets the extension publisher.

Changes

  • icon.png (Extensions-list / Marketplace icon) — replaced the symlink into the shared packages/identity bracket mark with a fork-local generated PNG of the teal (#0891B2) "c" on the #0a0a0a splash background, centered on its ink. icon.svg is the source of record.
  • button.svg (editor-title button + terminal tab glyph) — a single transparent teal "c" that reads on both light and dark themes (Option A), replacing the two per-theme packages/identity symlinks. The two command icon {light, dark} objects and the terminal iconPath collapse to it.
  • Publisher codev → CoDev — extension ID becomes CoDev.codev-code; the CLI auto-install target in packages/opencode/src/ide/index.ts is re-synced to match.
  • DIVERGENCES.md — rows 156/157 and the VS Code summary block updated for all of the above.

Notes / caveats

  • The extension ID changed (codev.codev-code → CoDev.codev-code), so VS Code treats the new .vsix as a different extension — an already-installed copy won't upgrade in place and should be uninstalled first.
  • CoDev is a placeholder and its mixed case is not a valid Marketplace publisher id (must be lowercase). Fine for the sideloaded .vsix the fork distributes; must be swapped for a registered lowercase publisher (and re-synced in package.json + ide/index.ts) before any real vsce publish. This is documented in DIVERGENCES.md.

Verification

bun run vsix builds clean (typecheck + lint + esbuild pass); bun typecheck on packages/opencode passes. Packaged manifest confirmed Publisher="CoDev", and the package ships button.svg + centered icon.png + icon.svg with no stale button-{dark,light} references.

Replace the shared identity bracket mark with the CoDev "c" badge that
`codev --mini` draws (packages/tui/src/logo.ts), and switch the extension
publisher to CoDev.

- icon.png: fork-local generated PNG of the teal (#0891B2) "c" on the
#0a0a0a splash background, centered on its ink; icon.svg is the source.
- button.svg: single transparent teal "c" glyph for the editor-title
  button and terminal tab, replacing the two per-theme identity symlinks;
the command icon objects and terminal iconPath collapse to it.
- publisher codev -> CoDev (extension ID becomes CoDev.codev-code); the
CLI auto-install target in ide/index.ts is re-synced to match.
- DIVERGENCES.md rows updated for all of the above.

Scale the transparent teal glyph to the biggest the 4x5 mark fits inside
the icon square: full height, horizontally centered. Background stays
transparent so it still reads on light and dark themes.

The extension details panel should show only end-user info. Drop the
contributor-facing Support and Development/Making-Changes sections,
leaving the intro, prerequisite, and features.
