Removes the agent-colored (teal by default) vertical bar along the left edge of sent user messages and the prompt input box.

Changes

  • packages/tui/src/routes/session/index.tsx — the user-message block's border={["left"]} (agent accent color) is replaced with paddingLeft={1}; the fork's in-scrollbox banner box gains paddingLeft={1} so the banner/tips left edge lines up with the prompt/message blocks' background edge (the removed border glyph used to occupy that aligned column).
  • packages/tui/src/component/prompt/index.tsx — the prompt's two bordered boxes (main box with its ╹ bottom-left char, plus the height-1 ╹ terminator row) are replaced with paddingLeft={1}; the now-dead borderHighlight memo and the unused tint/SplitBorder imports are removed. The highlight/agentMetaAlpha memos stay — they still color the agent name label.

The border is removed entirely rather than recolored to the background because background-colored glyphs render oddly on some terminals (e.g. PowerShell). paddingLeft={1} keeps the same one-column offset, so text alignment with the rest of the transcript is unchanged.

DIVERGENCES.md gets a row for the two upstream files.

Verification

  • bun typecheck passes in packages/tui; no tests assert the border glyph.
  • Live TUI run (tmux): no ┃/╹ glyphs in the pane capture, indentation unchanged, and the banner, Tip, and input box share the same left edge.
