• Tighter prompt block. The input box's interior paddingTop={1} is replaced by a half-block ▄ top-edge row, mirroring the existing ▀ bottom edge, so the box keeps a visible lip at half the height.
• Footer on the last row, no blank row above the box. The session content container drops its paddingBottom={1} and its gap={1} — the gap fired between every pair of children: it left a phantom blank row between the prompt block and the trailing zero-height flexGrow spacer, and a full blank row between the transcript and the input box. The half-block lip is now the only transcript↔prompt separation, and the status footer sits on the terminal's last row instead of two rows above it.
• No stray line on tool-output panels. BlockTool drew a border={["left"]} ┃ glyph in theme.background over the panel background, which rendered as an odd thin vertical line along the left edge of bash/generic tool output. The border props are removed and paddingLeft goes 2 → 3 so the content column is unchanged. The red error-block accent border is untouched.
