- **File search works on Windows straight out of `npm i -g codev-code`** — on
Windows, file search and the `@` mention popup depend entirely on ripgrep,
and when `rg` wasn't already on the machine CoDev tried to download one from
GitHub — exactly the host corporate networks block, leaving search silently
empty. The Windows packages now ship ripgrep alongside the CoDev binary, so
a plain npm install has working search with no download at all. Installs
through `codevhub install` were already covered (the hub stages ripgrep into
CoDev's cache); this closes the gap for direct npm installs. Other platforms
are unchanged — an `rg` on PATH still wins everywhere.
