- A "CI passed" gate job needs every check job: the single status check the main ruleset requires (CodeQL via the code scanning rule). - persist-credentials: false on every checkout except in jobs that push with git. - Docs: Claude commits to dev or merges its own try/ pull requests once CI is green; the owner gates dev -> main.
