Retires the dev branch. Work now happens on short-lived feat/, fix/, docs/ or chore/ branches off main, each merged into main through a PR.

  • mise run push: it runs the gates and pushes the current branch under its own name, ready for a PR. It refuses to run on main or on a detached HEAD.
  • CI (ci.yml): it runs on pushes to main and on pull requests; dev is gone from its triggers.
  • Releases (docs/RELEASE.md, release-tag): the version bump goes in as a release/X.Y.Z PR. Once that's merged and pulled, release-tag checks that local main matches GitHub main, then only creates and pushes the tag. Nothing pushes main directly anymore.
  • CLAUDE.md: notes the branch flow.

dev was at the same commit as main (6eb0e45) and has been deleted on GitHub.

`mise run push` now runs the gates and pushes the current branch under its
own name (it refuses main), for a PR to main. CI runs on pushes to main and
on pull requests. A release goes in as a `release/X.Y.Z` PR too:
`release-tag` only tags, once local main matches GitHub main, so nothing
pushes main directly.
