Refresh the What's New digest (hugo/data/whats_new.json) with the 7 PRs since the last release. Disable the three hidden scavenger-hunt clues (homepage, /ai/, /api-docs/) by commenting out their render entry points in baseof.html and the api-docs shortcode call. The feature's data/layouts/CSS are kept dormant so it can be re-enabled next Devtoberfest by uncommenting. No backend/CDS/seed changes; pure Hugo frontend.

Removes the three hidden Devtoberfest scavenger-hunt clues (the advocate images + their caption text) from the homepage,
/ai/, and/api-docs/.Approach
Seasonal feature (issue #1908) — disabled, not deleted, so it can be re-enabled next Devtoberfest. Removed the three render entry points; data/layouts/CSS stay dormant.
hugo/layouts/_default/baseof.htmlscavenger-hunt.htmlbody partial (home + /ai/ clues) and the per-page CSS includehugo/content/api-docs/_index.md{{< scavenger-hunt >}}shortcode call (api-docs clue); left a restore noteRe-enable = uncomment the three lines.
