Add ContractAttribute: a type's published shape and major version - #137
Types that leave a service (bus messages, API responses, adapter payloads, report data) have no stable identity or version today. A bus message is identified by its class name, and nothing says when its shape changed in a breaking way. A label on the type itself is the one thing every library that moves a type can read: PrimitiveTypes is already referenced by the bus, the API framework, the serverless runner and every SDK, so putting it here needs no new dependency anywhere.
What
[Contract("orders.msg.placed", Major = 2)] on a class or struct:
Key: lowercase, dot-separated.
Major: defaults to 1; changes only on a breaking change.
Id: "orders.msg.placed@2" (also ToString()).
IsWellFormed: key format and Major >= 1.
ContractAttribute.Of(type): the contract declared on the type itself, or null.
It does nothing by itself. Follow-ups can read it, for example a publisher stamping key@major as a message header, or an adapter runner listing the contracts of its methods' types.
Design choices:
Not inherited. A derived type has its own shape, so class B : A doesn't silently carry A's identity.
The constructor rejects only a missing key. An attribute constructor that throws breaks every caller reflecting over the type (a publish, a describe), so format is checked through IsWellFormed instead.
Tests
ContractAttributeTests: reading key/major/id, default major, not inherited, null and unlabelled types, the key and major format cases, a missing key. 37/37 pass.
…ersion
A label only: libraries that move a type (a bus publisher, an API host, an
adapter runner) and schema tools can read it. Not inherited, so a derived type
names its own contract. The constructor rejects only a missing key; IsWellFormed
checks the rest, because an attribute constructor that throws breaks every
caller that reflects over the type.

📝 Summary
Summary
Adds ContractAttribute for classes and structs. It exposes Key, Major (default 1), Id, IsWellFormed, and Of(Type).
The attribute is not inherited. Of(Type) returns only a contract declared directly on the type, or null.
Adds tests for formatting, defaults, lookup, inheritance, validation, and missing keys. The author reports 37/37 tests passing; this result was not independently verified here.
Risk: risk:low. The attribute adds metadata and does not change runtime behavior by itself.
Security-sensitive areas: None identified. The change uses reflection to read type metadata and adds no security controls.
Deployment and operations: No migration, deployment, or rollback steps are indicated. Consumers must opt in to reading the new attribute.
Adds ContractAttribute for class and struct contract metadata. The attribute validates keys and major versions, formats an ID, and supports direct type lookup. Unit tests cover the API, and the README lists contract labels as a key feature.

Summary
Define and verify contract metadata SW.PrimitiveTypes/Contracts/ContractAttribute.cs, SW.PrimitiveTypes.UnitTests/ContractAttributeTests.cs, README.md
Adds contract key and major-version metadata, key validation, ID formatting, and direct type lookup. Tests cover these behaviors, and the README describes contract labels.
Keys ending in a newline can pass validation. The change is mergeable with awareness of this bounded validation gap.

Full details: Docstring Coverage
Explanation
Docstring coverage is 50.00% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 2 functions across 2 files. (1 skipped: 1 unsupported.)
Resolution
Write docstrings for the functions missing them to satisfy the coverage threshold.
