Remove disableReanimated prop from components - #4650
A worklet callback passed to RectButton (or any BaseButton-based component) with disableReanimated={false} moved the gesture onto the Reanimated detector. BaseButton adds plain JS callbacks of its own (onBegin, onActivate, onDeactivate, onFinalize), which then ran on the UI runtime. In release this crashed on the first touch with "Tried to synchronously call a Remote Function", in dev Reanimated's useHandler threw at render.
Components never supported worklet callbacks, so this makes that explicit:
createNativeWrapper always sets disableReanimated to true, whatever the caller passed.
disableReanimated and runOnJS are removed from the wrapper prop types. They are still routed to the gesture config so they do not leak onto the wrapped view.
Docs for buttons and wrapped components state that callbacks run on the JS thread.
Touchable and Pressable are not affected: Touchable has no gesture config surface, Pressable hard-codes disableReanimated on its hooks.
New test in api_v3.test.tsx: RectButton with a worklet onTouchesDown and disableReanimated={false} stays on the plain detector and still fires onPress.
Reporter's gist in the empty example screen on an Android emulator: all three buttons log on the JS thread, no crash.

📝 Summary
Summary by CodeRabbit
Bug Fixes
Callbacks on buttons and components with pre-applied native gestures now run on the JavaScript thread, even when marked as worklets.
Documentation
Clarified that Reanimated-specific options such as disableReanimated and runOnJS are unavailable for these components and do not move callbacks to the UI thread.
Native wrappers now force callbacks to run on the JS thread and update their accepted Reanimated options. A RectButton test checks the detector configuration and press behavior. The button and wrapped-component documentation describes these constraints.
Native wrapper types omit disableReanimated and runOnJS from CommonGestureConfig, while prop routing includes both options. The wrapper sets disableReanimated to true unconditionally.
Callback verification and documentation packages/react-native-gesture-handler/src/__tests__/api_v3.test.tsx, packages/docs-gesture-handler/docs/components/buttons.mdx, packages/docs-gesture-handler/docs/components/wrapped-components.mdx
The RectButton test checks the detector configuration and press callback. The documentation states that callbacks run on the JS thread and that Reanimated options do not apply to buttons or wrapped components.

The wrapper keeps button callbacks off the Reanimated detector, and the regression test covers that choice. No actionable merge-blocking risk remains after normal checks.

Explanation
The title "Remove disableReanimated prop from components" matches the main change. The PR removes disableReanimated and runOnJS from component wrapper props and types, and forces disableReanimated to true in createNativeWrapper. The title is specific and describes the primary intent. It does not mention the forced behavior or the documentation updates, which is acceptable because the title does not need to cover every detail.

Explanation
[#4628] The requirement is that a RectButton with disableReanimated={false} and a worklet callback (for example onTouchesDown) must not crash on first touch on Android. The whole-PR diff of createNativeWrapper.tsx sets gestureHandlerProps.disableReanimated = true unconditionally. The gesture config therefore never selects the Reanimated detector for BaseButton-based components. This removes the path where BaseButton's plain JS callbacks ran on the UI runtime. The whole-PR diff of api_v3.test.tsx adds a RectButton test with a worklet onTouchesDown and disableReanimated={false}. The test asserts shouldUseReanimatedDetector === false and disableReanimated === true, then asserts onPress is called once. The issue reports that RawButton with a worklet callback already works, so the wrapper-level change covers the failing case. The prop-type and routing changes (propsWhiteList.ts, NativeWrapperType.ts) keep disableReanimated and runOnJS out of the wrapped view. The incremental diff since the previous reviewed head could not be read, so this verdict relies on the whole-PR diff for the core files and the PR summary for propsWhiteList.ts and NativeWrapperType.ts. The Android-only reproduction is not run here.

Explanation
All changed files relate to the [#4628] fix or its documented policy. createNativeWrapper.tsx forces disableReanimated and adds a type cast on the copied config. The test covers the fixed case. propsWhiteList.ts and NativeWrapperType.ts remove disableReanimated and runOnJS from wrapper prop types and keep routing them to the gesture config. The buttons.mdx and wrapped-components.mdx changes document the JS-thread policy. No unrelated component or behavior change appears in the reviewed evidence. The incremental changes since the previous reviewed head could not be read, so this verdict covers the whole-PR evidence available.

fireGestureHandler receives only state-transition events in this test. Add a TOUCHES_DOWN event and assert onTouchesDown was called, while retaining the detector and onPress assertions. The current assertions do not detect a regression in touch-down callback delivery.
