Adds docs/research/2026-09.md, the monthly maintenance sweep. Docs only; no code changes.
Every August item has landed, and nothing needs action now. Two dated follow-ups: move the Strava API base URL to api-v3.strava.com between 2027-01-04 and 2027-06-01, and add Python 3.15 to CI once 3.15.0 final ships (scheduled 2026-10-01).
Validation: 517 tests pass locally.
