Preserve the removed RPC heading anchor
Existing bookmarks and external links to /docs/protocol/rpc#consensus_getidentitytransitionproof now target a missing fragment and open at the top of the page. Keep the old ID near the consensus section or replace the deleted content with a brief retirement note so those deep links remain functional; the root AGENTS.md explicitly requires documentation changes to preserve existing anchors.

Kept the old #consensus_getidentitytransitionproof anchor with a one-line retirement note pointing to cargo xtask get-identity-transitions (8948e2e).

LGTM. This is a clean docs-only removal of the consensus_getIdentityTransitionProof section.
What was reviewed:
- The markdown at the cut is still well-formed. The previous JSON code fence closes, and a blank line comes before the
## Tempo adminheading. - Nothing else in the repo mentions
getIdentityTransitionProoforIdentityTransition, so no dangling links are left. - The rest of the consensus section still lists only
getFinalization,getLatestandsubscribe/unsubscribe, which matches the namespace description in the PR.
Extended reasoning...
The change deletes 35 lines from one file, src/pages/docs/protocol/rpc/index.mdx: the section documenting a consensus RPC method, which the PR says was removed from the node. No code, config or security-sensitive surface is touched. The repo has no CODEOWNERS or ANTOWNERS file, and there are no other reviewers' objections on the PR. What decided approval: it is a small, self-contained docs deletion, and a repo-wide search found no leftover references.

LGTM. This is a docs-only removal of the retired consensus_getIdentityTransitionProof section, and the old deep link still works.
What was reviewed:
- The
<span id="consensus_getidentitytransitionproof" />anchor matches the old heading slug and follows the anchor-preservation pattern in AGENTS.md (also used insrc/pages/get-started.mdx). - No other page or source file mentions
IdentityTransitionor the method, so no incoming links or tables are left dangling. - The
consensus_*availability table near the top of the page uses a wildcard, so it doesn't need changing.
Extended reasoning...
The change touches one MDX page, src/pages/docs/protocol/rpc/index.mdx. It replaces a 35-line method reference section with an anchor span and a one-sentence retirement note. It touches no code, auth, crypto or data-handling paths, and the repository has no CODEOWNERS file. The latest commit adds the anchor that AGENTS.md requires, after the earlier bot comments on the first commit. A repo-wide search found no other references to the removed method or type. The claim that the node method was removed depends on the upstream Tempo repo and can't be checked from this checkout, but it doesn't change the page's structure or rendering.

LGTM. This is a docs-only change: it removes the consensus_getIdentityTransitionProof reference and adds a short note saying the method is gone.
What was reviewed:
- I searched the repo for any other mention of
IdentityTransitionorgetIdentityTransitionProof. Nothing outside this note refers to the removed method. - The
<span id="consensus_getidentitytransitionproof" />anchor follows the same pattern as anchors on many other pages, so old links still land on the note. - The remaining
consensus_sections (getFinalization, getLatest, subscribe) are unchanged and match the namespace the description says is left.
Extended reasoning...
The change touches one documentation page, src/pages/docs/protocol/rpc/index.mdx. It replaces one RPC method's reference section with a two-line note about its removal and keeps an anchor for old links. It touches no code and no security-sensitive surface, and no CODEOWNERS or ANTOWNERS file covers the path. The earlier inline comment at line 176 got an author reply, and the later commits that keep the old anchor and give the note its own heading plausibly address it.
consensus_getIdentityTransitionProofwas removed from the Tempo node in tempoxyz/tempo#6633 (b607a030db0324c94017d5e8f5de9c08be1e13ab). Identity transitions are now read with the operator-onlycargo xtask get-identity-transitions. The node'sconsensus_namespace on main serves onlygetFinalization, getLatestandsubscribe. Follow-up to Linear CAN-15 (Cantina TEMP-23).Removes the method's section and its
IdentityTransitiontype table fromsrc/pages/docs/protocol/rpc/index.mdx.
