Currently, if GC is disabled, postmortem GC is not ran when a Ractor dies. This can cause the object space to have issues because we need to run the postmortem GC. This commit will guarantee that it runs.
Makes it consistent with nodes that contain text, like `StringNode` For those, `value` returns the literal. But we can't make it return a symbol for backwards compatibility. ruby/prism@7c1e135205
We are not going to optimized switch-based dispatch with the hash table, at least not yet, but we should let the interpreter profile the execution paths before ZJIT runs them. This should inject a lot more type information for the compiler. For example, on rubyboy, we go from ~1080ms/iter to ~820ms/iter. Later, we can make the dispatch faster too.
An inlined `leave` is just a `Jump` to the caller's continuation block, not a real return no frame pops there, so checking interrupts is pointless. Moved `CheckInterrupts` so it only runs on real (Standalone) returns and real returns are unaffected. Close Shopify#1033
