Features

Feature Description
Macro files Keys, mouse buttons, chat, commands, loops, waits, keybinds, cycles
Pathfinding A* walking to coordinates. Jumps gaps, climbs, breaks through blocks, avoids cliffs and hazards
Precise locks auto goto / auto look snap back the instant you drift
No-look pathing Walk somewhere while your camera stays free, or locked on a fixed view
Free camera F6 detaches your view so you can watch the bot from behind or fly around it freely, with wall collision and smoothing
Second camera A real second render of the world from the bot's aim, shown as an inset
Attacking Find, chase and kill mobs by name or category, with spam or crit mode
Following Follow any mob or player as it moves
In-game macro editor Create, edit and reorder macros from chat, no file juggling
Automatic tool selection Equips the right tool for whatever it is breaking, scored the way Baritone does, and puts yours back afterwards
Getting out of a cave /helm go-up pillars to the overworld, and steers around lava and water instead of balking under it
Tunnelling /helm tunnelforward mines a tunnel ahead at the size you are already in, and stops at a fall, lava or water
Farming /helm farm harvests ripe crops, collects the drops and replants from seed or produce
Biome and structure search /helm lookfor walks you to the nearest biome, or locates a structure and walks you there
Automatic eating /helm autoeat eats before you starve, off by default, with a food buffer and hurt-aware thresholds
Doors and torches Opens doors in the way, shuts them behind, and lights tunnels as it digs
Debug tooling Path status, position, chunk cache inspection and live path rendering

What the Pathfinder Handles

  • Flat walking, diagonals and sprinting with proper run-ups
  • 1 block step-ups and safe 3 block drops
  • Parkour across 1 to 4 block gaps
  • Pillaring up when you carry throwaway blocks
  • Choosing between a tower and a mined step by what it costs, not by habit
  • Water bucket clutches for big falls
  • Edge sneaking along cliff ledges
  • Breaking through walls when it beats detouring
  • Walking on closed trapdoors and bottom slabs, walking through thin snow
  • Swimming
  • Hazard avoidance: fire, cactus, magma, cobwebs, dripstone, powder snow
  • Exploring toward goals in unloaded chunks
  • Live path rendering

Commands

Everything lives under /helm. Macro work sits under /helm macro.

Command Description
/helm Help and list of your macros
/helm macro Macro help and list of your macros
/helm macro load <name> Runs a macro file
/helm macro stop Stops everything and releases all inputs
/helm macro create <name> Creates an empty macro and enters edit mode
/helm macro edit <name> Opens an existing macro for editing
/helm macro action add|remove|list|move Edits the actions of the open macro
/helm attack Attacks all mobs
/helm attack only <namespace:id...> Attacks only those, for example /helm attack only minecraft:zombie
/helm follow [only] <name> Follows a mob or player
/helm combatstop Stops attack/follow only
/helm stop Stops everything at once and releases all inputs
/helm mine <block...> Finds the nearest matching block and mines it
/helm tunnelforward [width] [height] [length] Mines a tunnel ahead, defaulting to the tunnel you are already in
/helm go-up Pillars straight up to the overworld surface
/helm farm Harvests ripe crops, collects drops, replants
/helm lookfor biomes [biome...] Walks to the nearest biome, or any different one
/helm lookfor structures <id...> Locates a structure and walks to it
/helm autoeat Toggles automatic eating, off by default
/helm pathdebug walk <x> <y> <z> Tests pathfinding to a coordinate
/helm set freecam <off|orbit|free> Detaches your view, F6 cycles the same modes
/helm set secondcamera <true|false> Toggles the bot aim inset
/helm set secondcamera orbit <true|false> Orbits your character and keeps looking at it

The full command tree and macro file syntax are in docs/USAGE.md.

Installation

  1. Install Fabric Loader 0.19.3+ for Minecraft 26.2.
  2. Install Java 25. Required by 26.2, older versions will not start the game.
  3. Place helm-26.2-2.5.6.jar and fabric-api-0.161.0+26.2.jar in .minecraft/mods/.
  4. Launch the Fabric 26.2 profile and run /helm in game.

Quick Start

Create macros/test.macro inside .minecraft/mods/:

goto 100 70 200
look at 153.5 / 14.2
hold left, wait 5s, release left
goto 0 70 0
attack zombie

Run it with /helm macro load test. The macros/ folder is created automatically on the first /helm run.

Roadmap

  • Mining to a target ore from the chunk cache
  • Automatic tool selection and eating
  • Chest interaction and item sorting in macros
  • Multi goal routes (A then B then C in one run)
  • In-game path editor overlay
  • True second 3d client camera (experimental + requires sodium+iris mod.)

Contributing

Issues and pull requests are welcome. Bug reports should include reproduction steps, new features should come with a sample .macro demonstrating them.
