…EAS row 'a certificate replaces the deltas' squash_gate.rs: fmt only. Entry results: landing the squash equals landing the finals; blame over lanes survives; delta stays N while history grows k·N. STATUS_BOARD D-TGA-5 -> In PR (lab precursor). IDEAS: certificate replaces deltas, with 01G22yT6's determinism falsifier as next probe. FRUITS / entries / supersession indexes regenerated. …egation of undersampled Markov chains) Lumpable + deflatable => rank R, P = Pi P_hat Lambda; aggregates from J sampled columns with J depending only on R and p; P_hat recovered with L1 error <= 4 eps, independent of N. Mapped to thought-git as [H] with four named falsifiers (non-homogeneity, non-uniform lane draws, deflatability, SVD only cold). Lane::final_state, ops and blame folded every write whatever the thought's Outcome, while next_version lands only Commit. Every fixture used Commit, so no test saw it. P8 lands a lane with Prune / Veto / Plan writes one thought per version and compares every read against the squash: it was red before this change (Prune write (5,1)=51 squashed), green after. Pruned and vetoed thoughts stay in order and the seal as history. Found by the falsifier co-architect of the 2026-10-23 coresearch on thought-git as a Markov chain. Five scouts, crosswalk of 16 ideas, three co-architects. The papers' main results need a restart oracle, homogeneity and independent lanes; none hold (transducer, transient DAG, lanes measured dependent). What survives: min/max L/U bounds, partition-refinement congruence, the certificate/model split. One defect found and fixed in the squash gate (P8). …ror) The substrate is deterministic; a probabilistic model is a counterfactual that the egglog/eggcc compiler must certify. The Markov/aggregation papers describe at most the search, never the certificate. Head = the thought whose compiled proof is admitted; the children's folds are its compilation material. Blocker named: no DR64 certified compiler (NoCertifiedCompiler). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01VncKoyG6JkpsoqhqTGTv3f

Include thought outcomes in the history seal
When a thought changes from Outcome::Commit to Prune, Veto, or Plan without changing its ID or writes, this loop produces exactly the same seal even though the squashed cells and blame change. For example, lane 3 containing thought 1 writing 41 to (4, 1) has the same seal whether that write lands or is pruned. This is a deterministic omission, not an incidental hash collision, and undermines the probe's claim that the seal tracks changes to the ordered history. Hash each thought's outcome as well, and extend the seal test with an outcome-only change.

Resolves an add/add collision: #1736 (session 01Vnc) landed its own coresearch map at entries/2026-10-23-coresearch-thought-git-markov.md. Theirs is kept unchanged at that path; CC2's map moves to ...-markov-cc2.md with a file note, and the gap map's cross-reference is updated. entries/README.md regenerated, not hand-merged. … file attribution Catch-up entries from the merge commits; hygiene-only PRs (#1727, #1728, #1730, #1732-#1735) get none. #1738 is a correction and gets one. D-TGA-5's row named src/squash.rs under #1736; #1736 added only tests/squash_gate.rs, and the gate moved to src/squash.rs in #1739. A lab probe, pre-registered before any code (
0dca6c52), for the first squash gate in thought-git. Every lane's chain of origin is squashed into the most-updated lane, the squash is refused on contradiction or divergence, and blame is kept over lanes. It is the precursor to STATUS_BOARD D-TGA-5. Claimed on EXO-50 (session_01VncKoyG6JkpsoqhqTGTv3f/034).Code. One new test file,
crates/thought-git-probe/tests/squash_gate.rs. The D-TGB-0 oracle (next_version) is the from-scratch reference.oracle.rs,slots.rsandreceipt.rsare unchanged.Results (
cd crates/thought-git-probe && cargo test --test squash_gate): 9 tests pass. Each anchor was asserted before the disable was applied, and the file was restored afterwards. Each one turned its named test red:
