Adds a bounded research note about what human-facing systems require when someone has less capacity available under stress. It proposes reducing demands while preserving usable agency, with routes from the research index, Design Grammar, and resilience page.
The note distinguishes compliance, consent, cooperation, information quality, and authority. It keeps animal experiments, human stress research, interrogation studies, and emergency-support guidance within their respective limits. The design prompts and cross-project translations are explicitly untested Root Sequence proposals.
The source check narrows the opening claim about stress responses, adds a direct source for acute stress and executive function, and makes the limits of the interrogation and decentering evidence visible. The note records the passages actually inspected for nine sources. The 2019 decentering follow-up was checked through its abstract and bibliographic record only; a systematic search, reanalysis, and independent clinical review were not performed. Author review remains pending.
The four-file change incorporates published main through #40 (
4fa71e26bcebd74fd6e1bf3d57c3475a8235d50c) and preserves its anticipation additions. The research index uses one source route rather than retaining a duplicate entry in the unmerged queue.Validation: all 239 reader-document files pass, the Idea Trail graph/index is valid and current, scoped whitespace passes, and all 11 site checks pass. This draft reports no human study and provides no clinical or interrogation instructions. Website publication remains separate.
