Summary: this adds Declined: the QMux finding that completion fires before the batch is submitted. QMux has no ACKs, so Applied CodeRabbit's note: the leak regression test now blocks each stream with a write before freeing it. (Written by Claude Opus 5.5) |
Summary
This PR plans work from an external audit of the in-tree QUIC stack. It adds Connection-blocked writers end cleanly as an
[S]child of the m1 "Own the QUIC stack" epic. The quest covers two audit findings, both confirmed againstmain:Streams::connection_blockedis drained only when connection credit comes back. A stream that is reset or freed while blocked keeps its entry. A peer that grants streams but never sends MAX_DATA can therefore make a relay hold an entry for every group it cancels, with no bound.SendStream::write_sourcereturnsBlockedonlimit == 0before it checksstop_reason. A parked writer therefore sleeps through a stop that has already arrived.Declined: the audit's qmux finding that
closed()resolves before the batch is submitted. The quest's Plan records the reason.Already tracked, so no new quests:
quest/m1/quic/receive-memory.md.moq-uringerrors already nameRLIMIT_MEMLOCK, and the relay io_uring package quest sets the limit. No public API or wire impact.
