moq removed its WASM build in moq-dev/moq#7475, and its JS-only @moq/net quest now targets JavaScript translated from the Rust. The ts-model epic and the quest root still framed the translator as a research track compared against moq's WASM build. This rewrites both:

  • ts-model's Goal: moq ships @moq/net as JavaScript translated from its Rust, in place of the handwritten package.
  • ts-model's Plan: the 2026-10-23 "moq still ships WASM first" decision gives way to the 2026-11-01 one below; frames.ts stays the end-to-end measure.
  • The quest root drops "moq's browser line still ships WASM first".

Decided with the maintainer on 2026-11-01:

  • The codec's WASM route in just ts bench: ✅ keep it as the baseline of compiled Rust in a browser; drop it
  • Rewrite the epic: ✅ yes, in its own PR; leave it for now

#397 also edits ts-model's Goal line (moq-clock into kio); whichever lands second takes both changes.

Consumer: moq's JS-only @moq/net.

Public API: none.
