feat(studio): guests join a moq-room from a web page and appear as sources - #10
The studio had no way to bring in remote guests or a phone camera. quest/m0/guests.md asks for a moq-room the studio owns, a join link and QR code, a join page this repository serves (on @moq/publish), each guest's camera and screen as sources, and a host who sees who joined and can take a guest out of the scene.
Approach
Studio (rs/moq-studio/src/guests.rs)
--room and --room-key turn guests on and are needed together. --join-page defaults to https://join.studio.moq.dev/, and --guest-expiry to 4h. A browser dials --connect, so it must be https://, or http:// only to a loopback, private-IP, or .local host a browser on an https page may still reach. The join page must be https:// or http:// on loopback, since browsers open the camera only on a secure page, and --guest-expiry must be at least a second.
The room key must carry a moq-auth Scope whose publish and subscribe patterns all lie inside the room's absolute path (the --connect path plus --room). The check is semantic (Patterns::covers over the rooted scope), so root=show/guests, ** and root="", show/guests/** both pass. An unscoped key, or one that reaches anywhere outside the room, is refused at startup. The studio also signs a probe token at startup, so a key that is too narrow fails then rather than at the first invite.
Invite signs moq_room::claims(room, name) with iat/exp. The link is <join-page>#url=<relay at the room>&name=<name>&jwt=<token>. The relay URL loses the studio's own query, userinfo, and fragment, so the studio's ?jwt= never reaches a guest. A name is one path segment and cannot start with ., which the room's announcements would hide.
A task follows moq_room::Room on the studio's subscriber origin, scoped to the room. When a guest's camera.hang or screen.hang is announced, it is added as a Source::Broadcast (alice, alice screen), muted and in no scene. It is autosaved but not recorded in History (History::apply_outside, see Decisions), and named with History::unused_name, so its name is one no history entry changes. Only a one-segment identity's canonical camera and screen paths are admitted, and only the room key mints guest tokens, each bound to one identity's <identity>/**, so a guest can make the studio hold at most two sources per name it signed for. That includes a guest invited before a restart whose link still works, who reappears on their own.
With --failover (moq-dev/studio#19): a link still names only the --connect relay, since the join page dials one relay and a guest's token is rooted at the room there, so guests drop while that relay is down. The studio follows the room on the subscriber origin both relays feed, like any broadcast source, so a guest the failover routes at the same path (a relay in the same cluster) keeps reaching it, the --connect relay's route preferred. Anyone the failover lets publish in the room joins as a guest, so the README says to guard the room there too.
Guests panel: an invite form, the link as a QR code (qrcodegen, no dependencies) with Copy link and Hide, and a roster showing camera and screen live or offline, link expiry, Show link, New link, and Remove from scenes: one undoable edit that removes the guest's items, items showing a clone of their sources, and masks reading them, from every scene and the top layer, and mutes them (Room::take_off). A link too long for a QR code shows the reason in its place and stays copyable.
Join page (js/join)
Vite + TypeScript on npm's @moq/roomLocal, which is built on @moq/publish, so it publishes exactly moq-room's {name}/camera.hang (hd and sd, plus audio) and {name}/screen.hang.
Reads the fragment, moves it to sessionStorage, and strips it from the address bar and history; where the browser denies storage it still joins, and only a reload loses the link. Starts capture on a click, has camera, mic, and screen toggles, a preview, and connection status. While Share screen is on with no surface (picker open or refused, which @moq/publish does not distinguish), it says so. no-referrer is set.
The minimal JS setup matches moq's: a bun workspace (package.json, bun.lock), biome with moq's formatter and lint settings, tsc --noEmit, and bun test. just check runs install, biome, tsc, and the page build. just test runs bun test. just fix runs biome. just join serves the page. bun joins the dev shell.
Deploy (.github/workflows/join.yml): pushes to main that touch the page build it in a job with a read-only GITHUB_TOKEN, then a deploy job, the only one with pages: write and id-token: write, publishes it to GitHub Pages through the github-pages environment. PR CI stays read-only. Pages, the custom domain, and DNS are maintainer actions, tracked by the new quest/m0/join-page-live.md; until then the README says the default is not live and to host the page yourself.
Verification
Unit tests: the room's URL spelling, the scope check (unscoped, the whole relay, the parent, a sibling, too narrow, two spellings of the room), the link (fragment contents, no studio credential, token claims and expiry), name validation (including a . prefix), the roster (multi-segment and non-canonical paths ignored, a guest without an invite this session tracked, a new source muted and added once, name collision), and flag combinations, including the default join page.
An end-to-end test (about 70 ms): an in-process relay behind moq auth serve, the studio's own connection on an operator token, and a guest dialing the invite link's URL and token. The studio's room subscription sees alice/camera.hang. Checked to fail with a bogus token.
Manual browser smoke test: a local moq-relay behind moq auth serve --key-dir, and the page opened in Chromium on a room-key token. It reached "Connected", the camera and mic toggles came on, the fragment left the address bar, and moq announced on an operator token showed + alice/camera.hang.
The deploy workflow passes actionlint; it has not run, since Pages is not enabled yet.
Impact
New flags --room, --room-key, --join-page (default https://join.studio.moq.dev/, not live until quest/m0/join-page-live.md is done), --guest-expiry. Guests are opt-in; nothing changes without --room.
New Guests panel (stacked with Sources and Devices; main's Filters panel sits with Health).
Guests who join are added to the collection as muted broadcast sources named after them, autosaved to the scene file, and kept out of History. No scene-file or history-file format change.
moq-scene gains History::apply_outside, History::touches, and History::unused_name for changes the user did not make.
New js/join page, plus bun and biome tooling (just check and just test now run them; just join serves the page), and a Join page workflow that deploys it from main.
Alternatives
A guest source kind in the scene file, keyed by identity, rather than broadcast with the room path. Rejected: it adds scene-format surface for no capability broadcast lacks.
Self-minting the studio's own room subscription with the room key, appended to --connect-token. Rejected: when the URL has no ?jwt=, the first token becomes the connection credential and would narrow an anonymous session, so the program could no longer publish. The studio's own token covering the room is the simpler contract.
Auto-placing guests in the preview scene. Rejected: guests are added as sources only, and the host places them from Items. Their audio starts muted for the same reason, since every source mixes into the program whether or not it is in a scene.
Tracking only guests invited this session. Dropped in review: a guest whose link outlived a restart stayed offline even after a re-invite. The canonical-path check and the room key already bound what a guest can add.
One shared link with per-guest tokens issued on demand. Rejected: it needs a token service, and the plan rules out a guest protocol.
Depending on the submodule's JS sources instead of npm @moq/*. Rejected: that needs moq's whole bun workspace. The npm packages are what any page would ship.
Kicking a guest. Out of reach: a signed JWT cannot be revoked. Remove from scenes takes them off the program, and --guest-expiry bounds the session.
Hosting the join page beside the relay (moq-relay's web listener), or keeping --join-page required. Not chosen; see the decisions below.
Decisions
Settled by the maintainer on 2026-11-02:
Join page hosting. ✅ (a) GitHub Pages from main through the github-pages environment limited to main, on join.studio.moq.dev, with --join-page defaulting to it. Enabling Pages and DNS are maintainer actions, tracked by quest/m0/join-page-live.md. (b) keep --join-page required. (c) host it beside the relay.
Hosted issuer. ✅ Not in this PR; a suggested follow-up once an issuer API exists. This PR supports a self-hosted relay with a room-scoped key.
Deploy workflow and default. ✅ Accepted with /quest-merge: the Pages deploy workflow and the --join-page default stay. Protecting main, which the github-pages environment's branch limit relies on, is a maintainer action in quest/m0/join-page-live.md.
Settled by the maintainer on 2026-11-03:
A guest joining and the redo stack. I had proposed (a) a guest's admission is a recorded History edit, so a join clears redo and undo removes the guest. ✅ (b) an outside event, such as a guest joining or reconnecting, must not clear redo. Remove from scenes stays an undoable host edit. Implemented as History::apply_outside in rs/moq-scene/src/edit.rs. It applies an edit without recording it, and refuses any edit that would not commute with every entry: only additions of a source's own source, audio, and video entries, never a clone, under names no entry changes. As a result, undoing past a join never removes the guest, and redoing across one replays as before. A guest whose source the host removed (a recorded edit) comes back under a new name (alice 2), so undoing that removal still applies. The history file reloads in full against a scene file holding guests. Recorded in the design change comment.
A guest who reconnects after the host removed their source. ✅ (a) Re-add them under a fresh name (alice 2), so undoing the removal still applies, at the cost of a duplicate source if the host undoes it. (b) Leave them out while History still holds the removal. Settled by the maintainer on 2026-11-03.
Choices made without asking
--guest-expiry defaults to 4h. The relay ends a session at exp, so this is both how long a link works and the longest a guest stays connected. A host re-invites for longer shows, and a new link for the same name resumes the same source.
A guest name is one path segment (no / or \, no wildcard, no leading .), chosen by the host, so the roster shows names a guest cannot spoof (unlike user.json).
Guest sources stay in the collection after the guest leaves (shown offline), so a placement survives a reconnect.
A new guest source starts muted, and Remove from scenes mutes too, so a guest reaches program audio only when the host puts them there.
join.studio.moq.dev as proposed. moq's other hosts are one label under moq.dev (doc, cdn, nix), but join.moq.dev would read as moq's, not the studio's.
Follow-ups
Guest failover: let the join page publish to the failover relay as well, under one epoch, with a token that relay accepts, so a guest survives the --connect relay failing.
Hosted issuer: mint guest tokens through a hosted service's API instead of a local room key, once one exists.
Show the guest's user.json name and a waiting-room or roster preview using @moq/room metadata.
moq: give @moq/publish's Source.Screen an error output, so the join page can say why a screen share was refused (it swallows the getDisplayMedia rejection today).
moq: have the relay refuse an announce interest outside a session's scope, so the studio could fail at startup when its token cannot subscribe to the room (CodeRabbit asked for this check; the studio has no signal for it today).
Review
Codex (quest review), gpt-6.1-sol, medium effort. Round 1 of a new session reviewed head b5a5bf92218dfd1788730dcc7885ebeb7604cdca against origin/main (399aa16) and found nothing. The previous session ended clean at its round-4 design checkpoint on 7bb2a14; this round reviewed the whole branch again.
b5a5bf9 merges main's moq-dev/studio#19 (failover relay). The conflicts were in Engine::start's doc comment and its Launch (connect became relays, beside the PR's room), and in main.rs, where the room now loads after Config::relays. The room still takes the --connect URL, which is relays[0]. Guests through the failover are covered by the README and the Approach bullet above; no code beyond a comment changed, since #19 already feeds every relay into the subscriber origin the room follower scopes. Not tested separately: #19's every_relay_routes_one_epoch covers a broadcast routed only through the failover reaching that origin.
In the previous session, round 4 covered 7bb2a14, which merges main's moq-dev/studio#17 (video effects). The conflicts were in the README panel table and in the filters panel's doc comment beside the Guests panel. Guest sources are broadcasts, which #17's validation accepts as before. #17 also lets a filter read another source (Filter::Mask, Filter::Lut), which exposed two gaps, fixed in the merge:
Remove from scenes left a mask reading the guest on air. It moved from ui.rs into Room::take_off in guests.rs, which now also strips masks reading the guest's sources from items and source video entries. Tested by taking_a_guest_off_leaves_nothing_of_them_on_air.
History::apply_outside accepted a video entry whose filters name another source, which a recorded removal could not strip on replay. It now refuses one, covered in refuses_an_outside_edit_the_history_could_not_pass_over.
Round 3 (clean on d19c74f) covered:
dd4ee30 and 19f745d: conflict-free merges of main's 875b709 (pullfrog.yml, workflow_dispatch only) and moq-dev/studio#15.
d19c74f fixes the online review's P2 on dd4ee30. The guest follower was spawned holding the Arc<Engine> before the encoder opened and the worker threads started. Guided setup retries a failed Engine::start, so a failed attempt kept its engine, publication, connection, and room subscription alive beside the retry. The follower is now spawned last in Engine::start, after every fallible step; only infallible tokio::spawn calls follow the worker threads. No test injects the failure. The steps that can fail after the engine is built are the encode session opening, the program clock capture, and a worker thread failing to start, and none can be made to fail without a fault hook in production code.
99c28ce: merges main's moq-dev/studio#7 (guided setup). The room is now a field of engine::Launch, as Option<Arc<guests::Room>> because setup clones the launch. It is loaded before setup runs, so bad guest flags still fail at startup.
Round 1, on 1fa94a2, covered:
Decision 4: History::apply_outside.
5e79f02: merges main's moq-dev/studio#6, #3, #13, and #14. Remove from scenes became one recorded edit across every layer, covering the top layer and clones of the guest's sources.
b67ec3b and 5e79f02 address CodeRabbit's review of 90ac6d2; each thread has a reply. Fixed: denied sessionStorage, a stale #error on rejoin, no feedback on a refused screen picker, a public http:// relay, an insecure join page, a zero expiry, a link too long for a QR code, and a live link reading as zero minutes. Declined: failing at startup when the studio's token cannot subscribe to the room (see Follow-ups), and an Engine::start test with a room, since engine tests need a GPU.
Tests for Decision 4 are pure, with no clock involved:
In moq-scene, edit::tests::an_outside_edit_keeps_the_history_around_it and refuses_an_outside_edit_the_history_could_not_pass_over.
In moq-studio, guests::tests::a_guest_joining_keeps_what_the_host_can_undo_and_redo, including the alice 2 case from Decision 5.
Earlier sessions: round 1 on 90ac6d2 found nothing. Rounds 1 to 3 before it fixed a guest who outlived a restart staying offline, .-prefixed names, and unbounded non-canonical guest paths (197511d, 954f655).
Checks on b5a5bf9 (macOS, Nix dev shell): just ci passes in full, including the capture clippy, and cargo nextest ran 112 tests, all passed (19 skipped).
…age to it
Pushes to main that touch the page build js/join with a read-only token and
deploy it from a job gated on the github-pages environment. `--join-page`
defaults to join.studio.moq.dev; the README says the domain is not live yet,
and quest/m0/join-page-live.md tracks the Pages and DNS setup.

Design change: the maintainer settled both open decisions on 2026-11-02.
The join page deploys to GitHub Pages from main (.github/workflows/join.yml): a read-only build job, and a deploy job that alone holds pages: write and id-token: write, gated on the github-pages environment limited to main. --join-page defaults to https://join.studio.moq.dev/. Enabling Pages and DNS are maintainer actions tracked by quest/m0/join-page-live.md; until then the README says the default is not live.
A hosted issuer is out of this PR and becomes a suggested follow-up.
The next local review starts a new session (quest review --new).
A guest whose link outlived a studio restart was ignored until re-invited,
and a re-invite never replayed their live broadcasts, so they stayed offline.
Only the room key mints guest tokens, each bound to one identity, so tracking
every guest holds at most two sources per signed link.
A guest source no longer reaches the program audio on arrival: it starts
muted, like its video starts in no scene, and Remove from scenes mutes it.
A name starting with `.` is refused, since the room's announcements hide it.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…reen
A token grants `<identity>/**`, and moq_room::parse accepts multi-segment
identities and `.hang`-less kinds, so one link could mint any number of
participants and sources. Admit only `<identity>/camera.hang` and
`<identity>/screen.hang` for a one-segment identity.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The changes add guest-room configuration and signed invitations to the studio. A new browser join page parses invitation links and publishes guest media. The studio follows guest-room announcements, adds eligible broadcasts as muted sources, and provides a Guests tab for invitations, participant status, QR codes, and scene removal. The changes also add JavaScript checks and build tasks, a GitHub Pages workflow, and guest and join-page documentation.
Merge Risk: Low · up to 90ac6
Guest joining has bounded configuration and browser-policy failure cases, plus misleading status messages and a long-link sharing limitation. These warrant owner awareness and follow-up, but the established failures do not indicate broad production disruption.

No actionable defects found in the scoped guest-token, roster and join-page paths. Room-scoped tokens and muted guest source defaults are sensible; the autosave base integration preserves the existing flow.
Verification: static GitHub review only; no tests, browser or device checks, or live deployment verification.
Add an Engine::start test that passes a room and checks guest admission.
The only test that calls Engine::start passes None for the room (rs/moq-studio/src/engine.rs:758). The Some(room) path creates the guest subscription and spawns guests::run (rs/moq-studio/src/engine.rs:201-211 and 246-248). No test in rs/moq-studio/src reaches that spawn. Removing it would not fail any test.
The current wiring is correct, so this is a coverage gap, not a runtime defect. Add a test that starts the engine with a room and checks that guest admission runs.

Fits guests to main's scene model (#6): a guest joining is an `Add guest`
edit committed through `State::commit`, so it lands in History and the
autosave, and Remove from scenes is one undoable edit that also clears the
top layer and items showing a clone of the guest's sources. The Guests tab
sits beside main's Filters tab. Guests are broadcast sources, so #3's
per-source tracks leave them alone.
Also addresses CodeRabbit's review of 90ac6d2: refuse an http:// relay a
guest's browser would block, a join page that cannot open the camera, and a
--guest-expiry under a second; keep a link copyable when it cannot be a QR
code; never show a live link as expiring in zero minutes.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
No new actionable findings in the guest integration with the current scene model, including URL and expiry validation, QR fallback and join-page error handling. The revised admission and removal paths fit the scene's undo model.
Static GitHub review only; I did not run tests, use a browser or devices, or verify deployment.
Fits guests to guided setup (#7): the room joins `engine::Launch` as an
`Arc`, since setup clones the launch, and is loaded before setup so bad
guest flags still fail at startup. Guests are followed once the engine
starts, after setup has recorded its scene.

[P2] Start the guest follower only after startup succeeds (rs/moq-studio/src/engine.rs:341–343). Guided setup now catches a failed Engine::start and lets the user retry, but the guest task is spawned with a strong Arc<Engine> before fallible encoder and worker startup. For example, if the final encoder open fails, the task continues waiting on the room origin while its Engine keeps the output connection, publication, room subscription and compositor alive. Repeated attempts can leave inaccessible studios and resources running, and a retry can contend with the abandoned publication. Start the follower after the fallible startup steps complete, or cancel and join it on every error; cover a failed start followed by a retry with a room configured.
The shared room through Launch otherwise fits the guided-setup integration. Static GitHub-only review; I did not run the setup, GPU, relay, or browser tests.
Guided setup retries a failed Engine::start, and the guest follower held
the engine from before the encoder opened and the workers started, so a
failed attempt kept its publication, connection, and room subscription
alive beside the retry. Spawn it last, after every fallible step.

On the review of dd4ee30 ([P2] Start the guest follower only after startup succeeds): fixed in d19c74f. Engine::start now spawns the guest follower last, after the encoder opens and the worker threads start, so a failed start that setup retries leaves no follower holding the engine, publication, connection, or room subscription.
I did not add the failed-start-then-retry test. Every step that can fail after the engine is built (the encode session opening, the program clock capture, a worker thread failing to start) needs a fault hook in production code to fail on demand. The ordering can be checked in Engine::start in rs/moq-studio/src/engine.rs.
The same pattern exists on main, outside this PR: program is started via clocked before audio and autosave, and its task holds the engine. A failure to start either later thread leaves the program thread running. Fixing that needs a stop signal for the program loop, so it is a candidate follow-up rather than part of this PR.
The guest follower now starts after the fallible startup steps, fixing the encoder-open example in the previous review.
P2: Roll back already-started workers if a later worker cannot start (rs/moq-studio/src/engine.rs:377–386). The same abandoned-engine outcome remains if the program worker starts successfully but creating the audio or autosave thread or its runtime fails. The program worker already owns an Arc<Engine> and runs indefinitely, so the error returned to guided setup does not release the failed engine or its publication; a retry can run alongside it. This worker-start case predates the guest follower, but it leaves the same startup-failure outcome the follow-up is intended to prevent. Start workers behind a common success barrier or give startup an explicit rollback that stops and joins the workers already started. Cover a later worker-start failure followed by a retry.
Static GitHub-only review. I did not inject thread or runtime failures or run setup, GPU, relay or browser tests.
Fits guests to video effects (#17). A mask now reads another source's
picture, so Remove from scenes, now Room::take_off with a test, also
strips the masks reading a guest from items and sources, and
History::apply_outside refuses video entries whose filters name another
source, which an edit could remove. Guest sources are broadcasts, which
#17's validation accepts as before. The README's panel table takes #17's
Filters row beside Guests.

No additional actionable finding in the effects integration. Removing a guest now removes masks reading their sources from items and source filters, as well as guest and clone placements; the outside-history path rejects newly added video filters that refer to another source. The new tests cover both cases.
The previously reported worker-start rollback issue remains: if a later worker cannot start after the program worker has started, the first worker can retain the failed engine and its publication. See the prior review for the reproduction and suggested fix.
Verification: static GitHub-only inspection; I did not run tests or inject worker failures, or exercise GPU, browser, or relay behavior.
Guests keep joining through the --connect relay their link names. The
studio follows the room on the subscriber origin every relay feeds, so a
guest the failover routes at the same path reaches it too.

No additional actionable finding in the integration with #19's failover relay. Both connections feed the subscriber origin that the room follows; guest links still name the primary relay, and the README explicitly describes the availability and room-trust consequences.
The previously reported worker-start rollback issue remains: failure to start a later worker after the program worker started can leave the failed engine and publication retained.
Verification: static GitHub-only inspection; I did not run relay, guest, browser, GPU, or startup-failure tests.

Brings in effects (#17), preview dragging (#15), failover (#19), guests
(#10), the docs move (#26), and outside edits (#24).
- Compositor: main's effect pipeline replaces this branch's shader. A
picture now carries whether its alpha is premultiplied, so a page
drawn as an item, or read by a luminance mask, is unpremultiplied
before its filters run.
- Preview: with Interact on, the pointer goes to the pages and the
preview does not arrange items; off, dragging arranges as on main.
- Sources: the add form lists both Browser and LUT.
- README: both sides' panels, kinds, and sections.

Brings in effects (#17), failover (#19), guests (#10), the agent docs
(#26), and outside edits (#24). The program's broadcast now goes live on
every relay through the connections `connect` opens, held beside the
recorder's origin, and health grades each relay's link.

Problem
The studio had no way to bring in remote guests or a phone camera. quest/m0/guests.md asks for a moq-room the studio owns, a join link and QR code, a join page this repository serves (on
@moq/publish), each guest's camera and screen as sources, and a host who sees who joined and can take a guest out of the scene.Approach
Studio (

A browser dials--connect, so it must behttps://, orhttp://only to a loopback, private-IP, or.localhost a browser on an https page may still reach. The join page must behttps://orhttp://on loopback, since browsers open the camera only on a secure page, and--guest-expirymust be at least a second.Scopewhose publish and subscribe patterns all lie inside the room's absolute path (the--connectpath plus--room). The check is semantic (Patterns::coversover the rooted scope), soroot=show/guests, **androot="", show/guests/**both pass. An unscoped key, or one that reaches anywhere outside the room, is refused at startup. The studio also signs a probe token at startup, so a key that is too narrow fails then rather than at the first invite.moq_room::claims(room, name)withiat/exp. The link is<join-page>#url=<relay at the room>&name=<name>&jwt=<token>. The relay URL loses the studio's own query, userinfo, and fragment, so the studio's?jwt=never reaches a guest. A name is one path segment and cannot start with., which the room's announcements would hide.moq_room::Roomon the studio's subscriber origin, scoped to the room. It is autosaved but not recorded in History (History::apply_outside, see Decisions), and named withHistory::unused_name, so its name is one no history entry changes. Only a one-segment identity's canonical camera and screen paths are admitted, and only the room key mints guest tokens, each bound to one identity's<identity>/**, so a guest can make the studio hold at most two sources per name it signed for. That includes a guest invited before a restart whose link still works, who reappears on their own.--failover(moq-dev/studio#19): a link still names only the--connectrelay, since the join page dials one relay and a guest's token is rooted at the room there, so guests drop while that relay is down. The studio follows the room on the subscriber origin both relays feed, like any broadcast source, so a guest the failover routes at the same path (a relay in the same cluster) keeps reaching it, the--connectrelay's route preferred. (b) keep--join-pagerequired. (c) host it beside the relay.--join-pagedefault stay. Implemented as
History::apply_outsideinrs/moq-scene/src/edit.rs. Recorded in the design change comment.A guest who reconnects after the host removed their source. ✅ (a) Re-add them under a fresh name (
alice 2), so undoing the removal still applies, at the cost of a duplicate source if the host undoes it. (b) Leave them out while History still holds the removal. Settled by the maintainer on 2026-11-03.Choices made without asking

The conflicts were inEngine::start's doc comment and itsLaunch(connectbecamerelays, beside the PR'sroom), and inmain.rs, where the room now loads afterConfig::relays. The room still takes the--connectURL, which isrelays[0]. Guests through the failover are covered by the README and the Approach bullet above; no code beyond a comment changed, since #19 already feeds every relay into the subscriber origin the room follower scopes. Not tested separately: #19'severy_relay_routes_one_epochcovers a broadcast routed only through the failover reaching that origin. In the previous session, round 4 covered
7bb2a14, which merges main's moq-dev/studio#17 (video effects). The conflicts were in the README panel table and in the filters panel's doc comment beside the Guests panel. Guest sources are broadcasts, which #17's validation accepts as before. #17 also lets a filter read another source (Filter::Mask,Filter::Lut), which exposed two gaps, fixed in the merge:ui.rsintoRoom::take_offinguests.rs, which now also strips masks reading the guest's sources from items and source video entries. Tested bytaking_a_guest_off_leaves_nothing_of_them_on_air.History::apply_outsideaccepted a video entry whose filters name another source, which a recorded removal could not strip on replay.
