Run the acceptance test against each published nightly snapshot. - #10685
Only the release candidate workflow runs acceptance-test.yml, so the unsigned libcrypto/libssl fixed in #10684 shipped in every nightly from #10355 onwards and was first caught by the 9.19 candidate.
This adds two jobs to snapshot.yml, both run only when the snapshot is published:
mirrored polls ftp.postgresql.org/.../snapshots/<date> until everything the acceptance test fetches is served (the .asc signatures, both disk images, the installer if the Windows build succeeded, every apt InRelease and every yum repomd.xml.asc), for up to 150 minutes. The snapshot only appears there after the hourly mirror sync, and the requests carry a throwaway query string so that polling cannot leave a cached 404 in Varnish for a URL the test fetches later.
acceptance then calls acceptance-test.yml with that URL, which its host allowlist already accepts.
I've checked that the snapshot layout works by dispatching the existing acceptance test against the 2026-10-26 snapshot (run). The apt, yum, artefacts and x64 macOS jobs passed, and Windows failed on the unsigned libcrypto-3-x64.dll, as it should until #10684 is in a snapshot. The arm64 macOS job failed because the connection to Apple's CloudKit dropped during stapler validate, which is a flaky network call and not a problem with the snapshot.
The wait holds the snapshot concurrency group for up to another two and a half hours, so a manual snapshot dispatched in the morning queues behind it.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Chores
Release automation checks that required snapshot downloads and repository metadata are available, including signed packages and documentation, macOS installers, applicable Windows installers, and package repository metadata. The check fails if required files do not appear within the wait period.
Acceptance tests run against the published snapshot after mirroring is confirmed.
Documentation
Clarified that acceptance tests cover release candidates on the development server and published nightly snapshots on the download server.
Only the release candidate ran it, so an unsigned libcrypto and libssl in
the Windows installer went unnoticed in every nightly from pgadmin-org#10355 until
the first candidate. The snapshot reaches ftp.postgresql.org on the
hourly mirror sync, so a new job waits until everything the test fetches
is being served before calling it.
No actionable comments were generated in the recent review.
Walkthrough
After assembly, the snapshot workflow checks the mirror for required artifacts and package metadata. When the mirror check succeeds, an acceptance job invokes the reusable acceptance workflow with the snapshot URL. Workflow comments describe testing release candidates and published snapshots after the hourly mirror sync.

Summary
Wait for snapshot mirror .github/workflows/snapshot.yml
A gated job polls for required signed artifacts and package metadata for up to 150 minutes. It checks for the Windows installer when the Windows job succeeds. The job fails if required files remain unavailable.
Run snapshot acceptance tests .github/workflows/snapshot.yml, .github/workflows/acceptance-test.yml
After the mirror check succeeds, the acceptance job calls acceptance-test.yml with the snapshot URL. The workflow comments describe testing development release candidates and published nightly snapshots after the hourly mirror sync.
