Battery status reads could throw RangeError, and cycle count 1 appeared as 256. Decode the little-endian fields at their correct bit positions, preserve all fault bits, and map reserved enum values to unknown.
Validated: all 21 library tests and analysis pass. Captured device payloads cover the original errors; the patched OpenWearables app returned 12 correct power and health readings from each connected ear.
